As there is a push to reopen across the country, Governor Cuomo posed the question, “How much is a human life worth?”
The governor said, “The faster we reopen the lower the economic cost, but the higher the human cost. Because the more lives lost. That my friends, is the decision we are really making.”
Governor Cuomo pointed to projection models that had put the country’s death toll from COVID-19 at 60,000, but now that projection has moved up to 134,000.
