In a speech to the Munich Security Conference, Mr Netanyahu signalled that he is ready to take action against the country itself, and not just its Middle East allies, if necessary – prompting Mr Sarif to hit back hours later by claiming that the recent downing of an Israeli jet by Syrian forces had shattered Israel’s “so-called invincibility”.
Holding a piece of what he said was an Iranian drone after its incursion into Israeli airspace earlier this month, Mr Netanyahu said: “Israel will not allow the regime to put a noose of terror around our neck.
“We will act if necessary not just against Iran’s proxies but against Iran itself.”
Addressing the event for the first time, Mr Netanyahu urged officials and diplomats from the (more…)

Facebook VP of advertising, Rob Goldman, tossed a hand grenade in the Russian meddling narrative in a string of tweets responding to Mueller’s indictment of 13 Russian nationals running a “bot farm” which, according to Mueller (via Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein), was unsuccessful at influencing the 2016 election.
Notably, Goldman points out that the majority of advertising purchased by Russians on Facebook occurred after the election – and was designed to “sow discord and divide Americans”, something which Americans have been quite adept at doing on their own ever since the Fed decided to unleash a record class, wealth, income divide by keeping capital markets artificially afloat at any cost.
If we are to accept Mueller’s findings that Russian disinformation campaign was focused on elevating an outside candidate to win the White House, no matter who it was (Mueller notes they supported both Sanders and Trump, while using “any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest”), then the logical conclusion (more…)

President Donald Trump reacted to the news that Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 13 Russians for their attempts to disrupt the 2016 presidential election.
“The results of the election were not impacted,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “The Trump campaign did nothing wrong – no collusion!”
The president also pointed out that Russia’s attempt to disrupt the American political system began in 2014, long before he officially announced his run for president.

Nirmala Sitharaman declared that Pakistan was “expanding the arc of terror” following the devastating attack and vowed to avenge the killings.
She stated: “Our intelligence inputs indicate that these terrorists were being controlled by their handlers from across the border.
“Pakistan is expanding the arc of terror resorting to ceasefire violations (on the border) to assist infiltration. Pakistan will pay for this misadventure.”
Following the attack, New Delhi pointed the finger at Pakistani military group Jaish-e-Muhammad for carrying out the attack on the army base that houses over 3,500 troops.
The defence minister also disclosed that one of the four militants are believed to have stayed outside the camp’s premises during the attack.
She continued: “The terrorists have been eliminated although there was information (more…)
