Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX) echoed President Trump Wednesday by saying Mueller should never have been appointed in the first place then called for his firing.
Gohmert also accused Mueller of using the office of special counsel to ‘cover his rear’ for the problems he created in allowing U.S. Uranium to be sold to Russia.
The calls for Mueller’s firing are growing and President Trump is ratcheting up his attacks on the Special Counsel. Something is shifting and Trump’s base is galvanized.
It’s time for this unconstitutional witch hunt to be shut down.
The Hill reported:
“I think Mueller should be fired,” Gohmert said during the monthly “Conversation with Conservatives” meeting on Wednesday. “He should never have been appointed and he should never have accepted. He should be fired.”
Gohmert clarified that he thinks the president should not actually fire Mueller, because Republicans in Congress might impeach him if he did so.

The Trump administration on Monday accused the California state officials of “bankrolling” criminal human smuggling rings via so-called sanctuary policies.
On the eve of President Trump’s first visit to the state since taking office, his administration took another shot at California lawmakers who have pledged to fight a federal lawsuit against new state laws that extend protections to people living in the U.S. illegally. Administration officials said those laws and policies endanger federal agents and make immigrant communities less safe.
“We’re giving them a selling point,” said an administration official. “We’re lining their pockets. Sanctuary cities are bankrolling the very criminal organizations that can smuggle terrorists, that smuggle weapons, that smuggle drugs and have killed border patrol agents.”
Last week, the Trump administration filed suit against California challenging a new state law that restricts how and when state law enforcement can interact with federal immigration authorities.

President Donald Trump ripped Russia on Monday by accusing Moscow of undermining U.S. and international sanctions on North Korea.
Addressing a gathering of state governors at the White House, Trump lauded China for its efforts to curb North Korea’s economic activity but said “Russia is sending in what China is taking out”.
The Trump administration has been leading international efforts to curb Pyongyang’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs through robust UN and Washington-imposed sanctions regimes.
In addition to Russia, Trump blamed previous presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama for failing to reign in the North, saying they should have solved the problem “long before I got here.

Media was set ablaze after the House Intelligence Committee released their classified FISA memo on Friday morning.
The Deep State and Dems are in a panic as the world sees the FBI was weaponized to target a political campaign.
Fired FBI Director James Comey came out swinging shortly after the FISA memo was released and mocked the memo.
Ranking member of the House Intel Committee Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) melted down after the FISA memo was published. He attacked President Trump’s decision to release the document.
Schiff has been in overdrive leading up to the release of the FISA memo.
Schiff wasted no time in responding to the allegations. He is itching to release his junk counter-memo.
The President’s decision to publicly release a misleading memo attacking DOJ & FBI is a transparent attempt to discredit these institutions and undermine Mueller’s probe. We’ll fight to release our classified response. Until then here’s a glimpse at what’s wrong with their memo:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has turned on Ankara’s allies, insinuating that the US in particular has been providing massive military support to Kurdish YPG in Syria.
In a speech to his ruling AK Party Erdogan said that ‘some allies’ of Turkey had provided the YPG Syrian Kurdish militia with 2,000 planeloads and 5,000 truckloads of weapons.
“Now, apart from 5,000 trucks, there are weapons and ammunition from around 2,000 planes.” the Turkish leader said. He also accused Ankara’s allies of dishonesty when they say that they do not provide weapons for “terrorists,” referring to Kurdish-linked YPG forces.
The president also vowed to hand over Afrin to its “real owners,” explaining that he aims to return 3.5 million refugees back to Syria from Turkey as soon as possible.
This weekend, Turkey began operation ‘Olive Branch’ against Kurdish forces in Afrin, deploying jets and land forces.

French film star Brigitte Bardot accused Hollywood actresses, who declared themselves victims of sexual violence and harassment, of hypocrisy. Most of those statements are simply ridiculous, Bardot said. Bardot stressed that Hollywood actresses seduce producers themselves to get desired roles, “and then, to be talked about, they announce that they were harassed.” “In reality, it hurts them much more than it helps them,” she said. “It seemed pleasant to me when I was told I was beautiful, or that I had a nice little butt. Such compliments are pleasant,” the 83-year-old film legend said. Earlier in January, Catherine Deneuve, another outstanding French actress, and 99 other famous French women stood up in defense of men who had fallen victims of witch hunt because of their desire to flirt with women. During the 1950s, Brigitte Bardot was declared a sex symbol of Europe; she was comparable to Marilyn Monroe in the USA.
