‘No turning back’ on Brexit as Article 50 triggered

Britain’s departure from the EU is “an historic moment from which there can be no turning back”, Theresa May has said. She was speaking after Britain’s EU ambassador formally triggered the two year exit process by handing a letter to EU Council President Donald Tusk. A sombre-looking Mr Tusk said it was not a “happy […]

This Democrat lawmaker has “damning evidence” Russia meddled in US elections. His smoking gun is John McCain

Tucker Carlson asks this Democrat nutcase to show evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.

How many lies can a politician say in one 5 minute TV segment.

Wisconsin Democrat Mark Pocan says he’s read classified reports and there’s “damning evidence” of Trump-Russia collusion and that reporters will be breaking stories.

We are eight months into this complete liberal left scam, and we have exactly zero evidence from anyone.

Myth of the Political Grey Area

Myth of the Political Grey Area

There is no political grey area. There is only feigned pragmatism. Wet noodle-ism.
The grey, the political middle in the American constituency, or what is considered moderate positions, has long been equivocating endorsers of the status quo. In today’s world these are corporate democrats, the Hillary voters who are still buying her shtick, the Republicans who are debating going to the left because Trump is a step too far even though he represents exactly what Republicans have been endorsing for years, and lastly the people still sincerely standing for the national anthem but aware America might just have some problems.
This is moderately preferable to coming to rest on the first idea one is fed in life and then traipsing around forever proselytizing it. Those in the contemporary middle have taken the time to moderately see past the pitfalls of mind control exploit number one, organized religion, but have fallen prey to level two – government.
However, the situation isn’t that this middle is filled with villainy as they are mostly a decent lot, but they are rooted in a bubble; a myopia in which they often make a conscious choice to not gaze too far outside of because they prefer the entrapments of culture and hence are fodder for subsequent buzzing distractions. They have been fed a diet based in capitalist value systems and primarily (more…)

Canada’s Little Known but Once Flourishing Slave Trade

Canada’s Little Known but Once Flourishing Slave Trade

We love our tales about how “Canada” offered sanctuary to US slaves for decades, but the unabridged version is it sustained African bondage for much longer.
In a recent Rabble.ca story titled “Canada’s earliest immigration policies made it a safe haven for escaped slaves”, Penney Kome ignores the fact that Africans were held in bondage here for 200 years and that the Atlantic provinces had important ties to the Caribbean plantation economies.
According to Kome, Canada’s relationship to slavery consisted of the oft-discussed Underground Railway that brought Africans in bondage north to freedom. But, she ignores the southbound “underground railroad” during the late 1700s that took many Canadian slaves to Vermont and other Northern US states that had abolished slavery. Even more slaves journeyed to freedom in Michigan and New England after the war of 1812.
For over 200 years, New France and the British North America colonies held Africans in bondage. The first recorded slave sale in New France took place in 1628. There were at least 3,000 African slaves in present-day Québec, Ontario and the Maritimes. Leading historical figures such as René Bourassa, James McGill, Colin McNabb, Joseph Papineau and Peter Russell all owned slaves and some were strident advocates of (more…)

If Trump’s Approval Ratings Drop, Americans “May See Staged Terrorist Attack”

If Trump’s Approval Ratings Drop, Americans “May See Staged Terrorist Attack”

This article was written by Claire Bernish and originally published at The Free Thought Project.
Editor’s Comment: It is perhaps inevitable that a large scale terror attack will once again hit the United States. The need to manipulate events, and seize upon tragedy and crisis is inherently built into the system, and it has long been a stepping stone to greater power and control.
If President Trump cannot achieve the things he needs to, or if his backers and powers behind the throne desire it so, there could be flashpoints and events that will change the narrative over night. As President Obama’s former WH Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel explained it, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” Nothing could be more obvious.
Beware and stay on guard. Something big could be coming soon.
Noam Chomsky: If Trump Support Drops, US May See ‘Staged Terrorist Attack’
by Claire Bernish
With President Trump’s approval rating sinking below even the nadir of presidential favorability, it stands to reason only a paucity of the billionaire’s campaign pledges have been addressed as originally promised — and although typical for modern U.S. presidents, his base (more…)

Riots, Fear, Anger Predicted By AI: Simulation “Detects Your Emotions Under Stress”

Riots, Fear, Anger Predicted By AI: Simulation “Detects Your Emotions Under Stress”

It is true that how you react to a situation will determine whether or not you achieve a successful outcome.
During an emergency, the strength and resolve of your mindset, and of your psychological state, will ultimately be the driving factor in whether you become a survivor or a victim. Your supplies and plans will be secondary to that. During a large scale breakdown, keeping calm under stress and resisting crowd forces to join into mayhem will be among the most valued traits.
If the animal over takes rational man, the battle is lost. Society will immediately devolve into the worst behaviors, and people will get hurt before order is restored.
Now, a new generation of artificial intelligence is using a facial recognition feed of users’ features to detect emotional states during a major crisis scenario (while immersed in a VR simulation). While the software hasn’t evolved to a stable level yet, it is determining the threshold for which violence, chaos and absolute unrest sets in. Experts believe that AI now understands when a person is upset enough to resort to rioting, and may be directing people to keep their calm instead.

“Don’t Panic”: Banks Make Shifty Moves As Markets Brace for Brexit Impact

“Don’t Panic”: Banks Make Shifty Moves As Markets Brace for Brexit Impact

This article was written by Tyler Durden and originally published at Zero Hedge.
Editor’s Comment: In the long run, Brexit represents a healthy draw down of European superstate power. But in the short run, almost anything can be a flashpoint for panic, as everyone hates change. Markets immediately become risky, the regulatory approach to withdraw while maintaining trade between Britain and Europe is confusing at best, and worrisome in nature.
The banks and the powers that be want a bit of panic, and there’s almost the chance of something bigger unwinding into a bigger mess. It remains to be seen what the larger picture will be, but the system is likely to retract and hold onto as much as what it can of what was already in place.
Banks To London Employees: “Don’t Panic”
by Tyler Durden
With Brexit officially a go, banks in Britain are scrambling to undo months of verbal damage, and reassure their London employees over possible Brexit disruptions, a potential shift in jobs to continental Europe, and also talking down warnings made in recent months about leaving the City, some in now dashed hopes of getting a Brexit revote.
It now appears that many of those “threats” were hollow and as Reuters reports, investments banks such as Goldman and Nomura were among (more…)
